Cleveland Cascades Ltd was established in January 2004, formally a division of Cleveland Potash Ltd that was created in 1995 following a breakthrough for the bulk industry, the Cleveland Cascade Chute being developed, which is a device for controlling the velocity and mass flow of free flowing dry bulk material when being transferred in a downward direction. The company is the world leader of the Cascade concept and have patent protection on the system.
Ian Barnard, Managing Director of Cleveland Cascades Ltd and one of the original inventors of the Cascade Chute purchased the business from Cleveland Potash Ltd in 2004 and has taken the Company from strength to strength expanding its product range and global market place.
Expansion has seen the business relocate to a much larger UK facility essential to enable its growth and achieve its realised potential, creating long term sustainability for the business and its staff.
